Sunday Development /Performance Squads

 
Invite Only Advanced squads for Red Ball (U8), Orange Ball (U9), Green Ball (U10) and Yellow Ball (U14) are offered to players on Sunday mornings.

The intention of the squads is to offer an extra one hour play each week for more committed and advanced players, who:

• are already playing at least once a week and looking to increase their playing time;

• are regularly playing matchplay and are seeking to improve in this area;

• interested in potentially playing team tennis for the Hawker Jets in the future, or are currently playing team tennis.
  

The squads complement the group sessions during the week and Matchplay sessions running at Hawker Tennis. 

The squads have helped to develop players from beginner and improver players into more advanced players now playing regular matchplay events, tournaments and representing the Hawker Jets against other teams in Surrey.

In 2023, the Orange Ball and Green Ball squads both won their respective divisions in the Surrey National League.
